Sam Harris or "scientific skepticism"

Sam Harris: Can Science Determine Human Values? http://bit.ly/h9ZRlD
I suppose that Sam Harris is an "atheist" or a proponent of "scientific skepticism." I found that Harris is concerned about the relationship between religious creeds and religious intolerance. If I were a very "religious" person, I would have a serious interest in his positions, but I feel that he is too concerned about the religious creeds that he rejects. He seems to think that religion is the most important factor in our daily lives even though he considers himself to be an atheist.
